Final Project: This was out final project. We were given a company to create a logo for, Creative Element. When thinking of the name I thought of an art store. So, paint! I made a paint pallet and paint circles. That was my main thinking. Something simple but still says art! The far apart and closer together is suppose to help the text. There was a lot going on with creative so to counter act I bunched them up on element.
Something To Share
Advertisement: So we were given a list of advertisements to pick some. I picked My garden Greenhouses. In this we had to create a logo which is what I have next to the mailing address. Also include special offers or deals to draw people in. I used Photoshop to get the logo created. I also went onto their Facebook page and website to get the pictures. There was a lot of blank space on the first design so I added more.
Photography: This was an assignment to use more improvise imagination. I enjoyed this one quite a bit. For surrealism I chose to do a fox in the night. Now I choose a cartoon fox and a galaxy sky to add the dream like effect to the winter scene. When doing the typography project I choose my favorite animal, a cat. I did not want to use a very complex word. I wanted to do a grocery store because they have a lot of decorations. So I added a different background and added in a new decoration! Taking away the two stands to show the door effect.
SYMBOL DRAWING: My class and I had to pick three symbols and make logos from those. The logos had to be versatile, timeless and appropriate. This was harder than expected especially since it had to be efficient with and without color. I choose the scales, lighting bolt and eyes. I picked these because I could instantly see a design.
TYPOGRAPHY: This project was based on words. We created what the word represents by manipulating the words structure. They had to be a verb or adjective so that way it could be easily represented. Using the word cold I used a hat and gloves to help depict what people wear when it is cold.
MESH TOOL DRAWING: This was a drawing using only the mesh tool and eyedropper. This is a starfruit! The mesh tool can be your best friend and at the same time you enemy. The lines are used to give the shape curves and smooth edges to distinguish shadows.
First Project: This is the first graphic design image that I created. I did an abstract version of outer space, very simple and calm. I mainly used the pen tool and the brush tool that added texture. I worked with the gradient tool also but not as much.
Game Board: This is the design for Tinkerbell. It is one of the sections for our game board. Also has a fairy that I made (Rosetta) from Tinkerbell series.
